Basic First Aid 🩹

1 Day COURSE   ($ 120 + GST/ person)
CPR Level C (Adult/Infant/Child), AED, and emergency situations.  This course is aimed at individuals working within 30 minutes of a medical facility in low hazard work environments.

This course is offered IN-PERSON or through Blended Learning (Online at your own pace and practical/exam are conducted in-person, cutting your class time in HALF!)

*Re-Cert Available if you have a Valid certificate (Cuts course time in 1/2)

Intermediate First Aid πŸš‘

2 Day COURSE ($160 + GST / person)
CPR Level C (Adult/Infant/Child), AED, with more thorough coverage of First Aid situations.  This course is aimed at individuals working more than 30 minutes from a medical facility or in higher hazard workplaces.

 This course is offered IN-PERSON or through Blended Learning (Online at your own pace and practical/exam are conducted in-person, cutting your class time in HALF!)

Basic Life Support (BLS) πŸ₯

6 hr In-Person COURSE ( $120 + GST!)
The Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR course is for those working in healthcare and covers advanced CPR techniques.

Participants learn the full content of a level CPR-C course (adult, child, infant, and two-rescuer CPR), as well as: Bag-valve mask use (BVM) Two-rescuer child and infant CPR Responding as part of a team Artificial respiration
(No pre-requisite - previous First Aid course is a 'nice to have' but not necessary)

Babysitting Basics πŸ‘Ά

$60/ student
This course is designed for youth 11+ who are interested in babysitting or are wanting practical skills for staying home alone. Topics covered include Stranger Emergencies, introduction to CPR and chocking for infants/youth, Handing Emergencies, and Food & Play among other topics. This course is offered in-person or virtual This course is not offered on a one-to-one basis. Bookings require 10 registered students.

Safe at Home 🏠

3 hour  Program ($35 / student)
This course is aimed at youth 10 + (by the end of the calendar year) to help prepare them for spending short amounts of time alone, or for those youth who spend time alone before/after school.  It covers first aid, strangers, emergencies, routine, among other topics.  This course is NOT intended for all day or long periods of time, please ensure you are familiar with the Legal Requirements for Supervision.  This program is offered in-person

New Parent / Caregiver First Aid/CPR Awareness πŸ‘©β€πŸΌπŸ‘¨β€πŸΌ

3 hour In-person Course ($65 + GST / person)
As a mother of 5 and former First Responder, I understand the importance of First Aid and CPR Awareness in daily life. This program is designed to provide First Aid and CPR awareness for new parents, grandparents or those who spend time with young children. This program is an awareness program and does not provide First Aid/CPR certification.

This course is not typically offered on a one-to-one basis. If you have a group of  4+, we would happy to schedule a course - please contact us direct.

St. John Ambulance Standard Mental Health First Aid - Basic is intended for adults interacting with adults (18 years and older).

Participants who take this course are well prepared to interact confidently about mental health with their family, friends, communities, and workplaces.
